Slate, the daily online magazine, it will expand its technology coverage with a regular column by leading technology writer Farhad Manjoo. The column, to be published twice a week, will focus on how technology affects politics, business, culture and society as well as cover new gadgets, products and trends.Manjoo joins Slate from Salon.com where he covered technology for over six years and wrote a daily blog called "Machinist." He is the author of the book True Enough: Learning to Live in a Post-Fact Society which examines propaganda on the Web, cable news and talk radio. He’s based in San Francisco, Calif.
