Denver Group to Publish New Regional Information Technology Magazine

A local group of technology professionals will launch a new magazine and Web site focusing on the information technology industry in Colorado. The publication, called Rocky Mountain TechLine, will debut in August and will be published monthly with a subscriber base of over 10,000 people.

The publication is headed by Eric Wolferman, a former Vice President of Information Technology for the Denver Newspaper Agency and a long-time journalist. Wolferman is Editor and Publisher of the new magazine.

According to Wolferman, Rocky Mountain TechLine will focus strictly on the people and activities of the Colorado IT community. Content will include news of IT-related businesses, profiles of prominent technology professionals, regular columns written by area experts on computer security and the local IT job market, and a complete calendar of events of interest to area technology workers.

"Rocky Mountain TechLine will also provide a much-needed advertising platform for providers of IT products and services," Wolferman said. "Currently, there are very few ways for these providers to get their offerings in front of the IT professionals who buy their products and services, and very few ways for technology executives to learn about the solutions that are available to them. Our magazine and Web site will provide the perfect marketplace for these buyers and sellers."
