Organic Style Magazine Reborn

The new exclusively-online Organic Style magazine (http://www.organicstylemag.com/) launches today, heralding a green era in digital media.

The Organic Style premier issue includes an exclusive interview with Maria Rodale, publisher of the original Organic Style magazine, and in-depth features about organic cotton farming in India, wildlife conservation in Kenya, sustainable flower growing in Ecuador, a tribute to Civil Rights icon Rosa Parks, and a look into the important work of Women for Women helping international victims of war. The issue also includes engaging articles on eco-living, fashion, gardening and travel, enriched media such as video stories and music, and a catalog featuring a special collection from the OrganicStyle.com boutique.

Rodale Inc. published the original Organic Style magazine from 2001-2005, during which time it became a leading resource for sustainable living. In 2007, Rodale sold the Organic Style brand to Prolman, who is the founder and CEO of Organic Bouquet, Inc., the pioneer of the organic flower industry. Prolman formed UK-based Organic Style Ltd. to further the company's international expansion plans. In November, OrganicStyle.com was launched as an online boutique for eco-luxury products.

Digital publishing fits with Organic Style's philosophy of environmentally-responsible commerce. Organic Style magazine is produced with state-of-the-art digital publishing technology, enhanced with audio, video, and advertiser links, and can be easily accessed on any web browser. The digital publishing trend has been growing exponentially, with more than 200 new online initiatives - including those by Time Inc., Meredith, and Condé Nast - introduced in 2007 alone, according to Magazine Publishers of America.

Organic Style will publish quarterly and subscriptions will initially be free.
