Elizabeth Turner Becomes Editor-in-Chief of Vegetarian Times

Active Interest Media has named Elizabeth Turner Editor-in-Chief of Vegetarian Times. In addition, the company announces that in January 2008, the magazine will raise its rate base to 250,000.

Prior to joining Vegetarian Times, Turner was the Managing Editor of Natural Health magazine. Her previous experience includes International Managing Editor of Weider Publications, Managing Editor of Shape Cooks, as well as developing and producing 10 special editions of Shape, Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health.

Former Editor-in-Chief Mary Margaret Chappell, who is relocating to France, will remain with the magazine as Food Editor.
