Theresa O'Rourke Named Executive Editor of Every Day with Rachael Ray

Theresa O'Rourke has been appointed Executive Editor of Every Day with Rachael Ray. Ms. O'Rourke joins the magazine from Cosmopolitan, where she was Deputy Editor since 2007. She worked previously at Cosmopolitan as Senior Editor from 2002 to 2003.

Ms. O'Rourke was Deputy Editor at Shop Etc. in 2006. Prior to that, she was Features Editor at Allure from 2003 to 2005 where she directed all special project issues, including Allure's annual State of Beauty and Best of Beauty issues.

Additionally, Ms. O'Rourke has written or served as a contributing editor for Real Simple, InStyle, Women's Health, Marie Claire and Shape. Her experience includes serving as a General Assignment Reporter for Newsday.

Elaine Alimonti Named Publisher of U.S. Selecciones

Elaine Alimonti has been named Publisher of Selecciones. Alimonti assumes this role from her current position with Reader's Digest, where she has been Associate Publisher since July 2007.

Prior to Reader's Digest, Alimonti was the Associate Publisher of Cookie, a position she held since the magazine's launch by Conde Nast in 2005. Before that, she spent seven years as Associate Publisher at the New York Observer. She was also Advertising Director at SPY, and worked in sales at AdWeek.

Elaine Alimonti succeeds Elizabeth Bradley, who is leaving to pursue other interests after six years with the magazine.

Selecciones is the world's leading Spanish-language magazine, available in 20 countries.

New Magazine: ALLGREEN MAGAZINE

ESPN Acquires RISE Magazine

ESPN has reached an agreement to acquire SchoolSports Inc., a leading high school-focused sports and lifestyle media company. SchoolSports reaches teen athletes and fans through RISE, Gridiron, Hardwood and GIRL magazines; RISE Events, which produces the Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic, one of the nation's premier high school basketball events; and RISEMAG.com, an online destination for teen athletes and fans that provides updated high school sports news.

SchoolSports CEO Jim Kaufman will continue to run SchoolSports, and will report to ESPN's James Brown, senior vice president, New Program Development and Gary Hoenig, editor in chief, ESPN The Magazine and general manager, ESPN Publishing. The business will continue to operate from Boston, Mass. and New York, N.Y.
